Bio:

29 year old local DJ/producer, Eyan, is no stranger to the Perth local dance music scene.
One half of the breakbeat duo Beatslappaz, alongside DJ Juxtapose, known around town for their resident sets at “Backbeat” (Big Apple/Blueprint/Geisha) and “Bar Broken” (Bar Open) as well as being founding members of the “Soundbreaks” night (Spirit Sound Bar) and the subsequent website of the same name (nominated “best local dance music website” at 2007 PDMA's).
2007 would also see Beatslappaz release their debut single - “Rogan Josh” on UK label iBreaks Funk, which peaked at #2 on the Beatport breaks chart worldwide and lead to a string of gigs across Australia with support from some of the biggest names in the industry at the time.
These days Beatslappaz keep busy with the launch of their very own label “Slap 'n' Tickle Music”.

However, Eyan keeps his solo musical style very much with the house sound where it all began for him.
With casual sets over the years for various promoters at various venues (Ambar/Geisha/Claremont/Greenhouse), despite being well known as a breaks DJ, house music has always been a big part of Eyan's musical repertoire.
Encompassing all the various styles that house music has to offer makes Eyan and versatile DJ able to adapt to any crowd/timeslot.
Production wise, summer 2012 will see Eyan release his first Solo EP on UK label “Soundz Dynamik”, with his remixes and edits already getting support from some highly respected DJ's across the globe as well as being featured on many popular blogs online.
