This is the final volume of Nate Young's "Regression" series and it is lethal at its core. Following on the heels of the well-received second volume (LP on NNA), Young has everything stripped down to bone here. Slithering electronics slowly wind their way through festering concrete hellscapes. Electricity flows through the rusted-out circuits, leaving any hope of redemptive melody dying by the side of the blacktop. Tape loops are stretched to their breaking point and held together with spit and glue, sawing and clanging into an uncomfortable, cryptic coalescence. Everything unfolds at a snail's pace, but that only serves to hammer each and every callow note into your veins. Underwater burials live alongside synthesizer excercises. Each track feels carefully contemplated and, as a whole, the album is sequenced with expert precision. "Regression Vol. 3" unfolds with the endpoint in mind, sloshed and disfigured as much as possible along the way. Moving backward in time, the ending rings hollow in your ears, taunting you until the last manipulated tone fades away into a shattered mirror of expectations. This is an incredible piece of work. Long live life in the gutter. - Brad Rose for Experimedia

the last volume in the regression from nate young(wolf eyes).
the sound all ascetic that brings high voltage tension behind full of dead asleep ambience.
apocalyptic, hypnotic and also i can tell a ZEN buddism attitude.
this is a slow heavy lethal injection from him.
