*Excerpts from the album. Now available at Experimedia.net.* Linear Bells is French artist David Teboul. He is a composer, multi-instrumentalist and sound artist based in Nantes, France. His music is a mix between, vintage instruments, sound manipulations and field recordings, all primarily created with acoustic and analogic instruments. Teboul starting to produce sounds in the mid 90′s under the moniker of Embark. He created one of the first French net-labels named Acrylik, which was involved in electronica production and both digital and vinyl distribution. “I find it difficult to picture where his music is standing, as it is not as minimalist as artists like The Stars of the Lid or Saito Koji, and not as shoegaze or dreamy as Hammock or Josh Varnedore. It is somewhere inbetween but probably just at a different place, mixing elements of reality with surrounding drone atmospheres and you feel like floating, perceiving as much as you are invited to introspection” (derives-webzine). The release is a 6 track release that features TR artists Endless Melancholy and Listening Mirror in a 250 gsm printed folded car in a clear plastic sleeve in an edition of 100 copies.
