Taking advantage of his past as a keyboard player in an electrorock band and the experience with the duo Pitch2Decide, the eclectic Electronic Expansion (aka Exel) challenge the contemporary club scene with a series of productions anything but banals and obvious: an effective mix of electro, funk, house and breaks, ingredients that make the final result very intriguing and funny.
Over the past four years, the Italo-South African producer has released official remixes for Zoot Woman, Monarchy, Middleman, Phinx, Plastic Fun, Miss Wonder, to which are added a good number of tracks, including "Daedalus", used live by several international artists, Mustard Pimp, first of all. In 2012 he released his first official EP, "Reckon with Funk" collecting a good number of consensus in the underground international scene. Most of these tracks has been powered by many international blogs in the past, like Data Sapiens, Stockholm Beat Connection and more.
For years it has also been linked to one of the coolest Italian party, the Tash-Dance, where he was resident DJ and member of the Trash-Dance Soundsystem with Auza (Torpedo AU), Butyreux (So French Rec) and others.
He toured throughout Italy, in London and in Cape Town, sharing the stage with artists like Mixhell, Mstrkrft, Drop the Lime, Shitdisco, Hostage, Subsonica and more.
Between 2012 and 2013 he produced two tracks at the Red Bull Music Studio in Cape Town for the 2013 Red Bull Beat Battle.
