About

Music has been a lifelong passion. As a young boy I remember hearing all these great music from Brasil (thanks to my dad), Gershwin’s “Rhapsody in Blue”, the musical “Hair” and of course all those great albums by The Beatles. After hearing Paul McCartney’s first solo album, Mike Oldfield’s “Tubular Bells” and the early 70s albums from Stevie Wonder (“Where I’m Coming From”, “Innervisions”) I became interested in the possibilities of a musician working as if he was a painter. Instead of performing in a band, recording music by yourself: layer after layer, playing all instruments yourself. I also have a great interest in synthesizers, I owned quite a few of them over the years. The first one being a Korg MS-20. I always regretted selling it, but who knows one day I will buy one again. But I am quite happy with the synths I own at the moment.

Since the 80s and 90s I was mainly involved in creating music for audiovisual productions and recording live performances. I established a company (Cone Music) to handle these projects.

In the 00s and 10s I extended my focus to own projects that initially were available on CD and in recent years as digital downloads through stores like iTunes and Amazon.
