punosion and I did this mix remotely. I would mix 2 tracks then send the wav file to punosion who added 2 more tracks then sent it back. I would say this is my best mixing ever and maybe for punosion too. This is my favorite mix ever I think.

@Evilspoon: I'm just big into looping and deeper programming right now...if you're already working inside these complicated DAW's to do DJ mixes, you might as well make the most of the technology to create the best tapestry you can. :)

@Evilspoon: See, I think you could've extended that for another 1-1.5 minutes while trimming the volume all the way to the next break...just kinda' simmering there underneath Mana. ;)

@Evilspoon: That was actually my doing on the last cut. Little Bullet comes in too hot, so I had to cut the volume right at the drop. I probably didn't need to cut it as hard as I did, but I thought it was the best compromise between a smoother overall sound versus a drop in the Cloudbreak outro loops.

This one I didn't like at first but then i added the end loop and that's what it needed. Kind of an experimental accident.

@Evilspoon: All the hallmarks of a great mix...nice progression, harmonically mixed, good mixer control. Doesn't get much better than that. :)

@Evilspoon: The loop is actually from the beginning of the song. I don't quite like how this song ends, so I looked for a cleaner-sounding loop which still had the "flavor" of the song in it.

I love the mixing we did in this mix, but easily the best mixing I've done so far is the EDM Deathmatch. As you can see (http://i.imgur.com/S8Rxm.png), there are a ton of edits and there's at least an hour in listening and tweaking the levels on every mix...there were also a lot of backtracks, etc., when I didn't quite like where it was going, but I blame that on the parameters of the project. This mix here had a lot more possibilities for good track selection. ;)
