Last year has been a year to remember for Blawan. Throughout 2011 he steadily carved out a reputation for producing infectious, hard-hitting dance music. His “Fram/Iddy” release on one of the finest labels going, Hessle Audio, caused quite a stir in the UK underground with gossip mongers sparking off false rumors that it was an alias for Hessle Audio co-founder, Ben UFO. his cold, percussive productions have grabbed the attention of not only Hessle Audio but legendary record label R&S Records with a superb new single. Twisted acid beats with a driving percussion and classic techno stabs. Blawan provides more evidence that he is currently one of the hottest and most versatile properties on the electronic music circuit, and one who can deftly jump between genres without any sense of displacement or naivety.
