Evgeny Fomin - electronic musician from Krasnodar, Russia. He mixed his first two records at the age of 12, and created his first synthesizer while he was still a student in high school. In 2004 his friends offered him to participate in "Modul" project. The band recorded a lot of music and a few vinyl records which were released on "Harthouse" and "Level Records" labels in Germany, and "Pro-Tez" and "Highway Records" labels in Russia.
In the fall of 2008 Evgeny went to Barcelona to present Russia on "Red Bull Music Academy" international conference. Evgeny left "Modul" in 2010 and, together with a pianist Vladimir Shubin, started "Obertonbox" project. The music style of the band can be defined as a synthesis of funk, neoclassicism and electronic music. Currently Evgeny teaches at the Spektral Audio School and works on his solo project.
