"Diamond rings, exotic clothes, making music's what I chose." -Sylvester.
I got into editing after many years of deejaying and feeling stuck in songs that had too much intro or were just long and redundant. These fantasy 'radio versions' had all the perks of a 12" (mixable intro/outros, breakdowns and dubby bits) minus the excess. Sometimes I get inspired by hip-hop's channel-surf style of programming; it reminds me of 1-2 minute punk tunes that get to the point and are done. I think house and disco music could benefit from a condensed approach and still retain most of the song. The WeeEdits are an attempt at that. Try 'em out and enjoy!
