Bio:

Erman Erim was born in 1981 in Neumarkt, next to Nuremberg.
Although he was fascinated by metropolis like Berlin and more particularly Istanbul (where a part of his family still lives), because of its musical and cultural diversity, he likes the Bavarian city as a refuge for his inspiration.

He enjoyed a very good reputation with his formal residency in the surrounding Zoom Club in Nuremberg (which has unfortunately closed in 2011).
He has also played in respected clubs like Berghain, Weekend, Studio 80, Rohstofflager, Rocker 33, Airport Würzburg and festivals like Nature One, Ruhr in Love and Rave on Snow.
His Live-Acts full of energy contributed to build him a good notoriety.

Erman Erim released own songs and remixes on Terminal M and Beatwax Records so far and an additional remix on Martin Woerner’s label “Inclusion”.
Terminal M introduced his sound to a bigger audience and presented him beside Monika Kruse in the Terminal M Showcases in Berlin, Switzerland, or ADE in Holland.

Erman’s style is marked by his accentuated melody and the charm of his live-performances.
The pieces are recorded steadily live during his mostly nightly studio-sessions and are later only lightly retreated.
The talent to record melodies and to arrange the tracks live is due to his early enthusiasm and ability to play piano.

On childhood photos he appears as a 3 years old “virtuoso” organ player.
Especially keyboard instruments became a passion for him.
Erman enjoys playing classic or jazzy tracks and has a passion for film music.
Thus he has already composed music pieces for film scenes.
He produces the percussion samples for his tracks on his own.

Erman Erim’s remarkable openness and interest for music are reflected also in his music taste which covers a wide range: Classic, Pop, Jazz, Rock but also American and German Hip-Hop.

Beside his interest for music, Erman went to the Spanish city Sevilla where he spent several months and collected new inspiration.

For the future, Erman Erim wants to keep focussing on his music…
