Erik Arbores is a 16 year old composer and producer of (progressive-/electro-)house and pop music from the Netherlands. Signed at Spinnin' Records, and Universal Music Publishing.
His first release, the "Take It E.P." was released in september 2011 at Armada Music/ZOUK Recordings. The E.P. topped the Dutch iTunes main chart for 4 days since the day of its release. The single "Bliss" got played multiple times a day on American radio station Sirius XM and was made GrandSlam on Dutch radio station SLAM!FM. The single also entered the Dutch single top 100 at #20, and was used in several Dutch tv shows and promo's.
Arbores was featured with an interview in world's biggest music magazine Billboard, the issue of October 15th 2011. Erik was also named Best New Dance Artist of the year 2011 on the Dutch iTunes.
In February Erik released his new EP, containing the tracks Babylon and On The Move. His collaboration with Sied van Riel is the official anthem of Electronic Family 2012. Currently, he is working on new music and planning for a new release in August.
Besides his musical career, Erik got a lot of media attention in 2011 because he had graduated high school at the age of 13. After that he started studying at the University of Delft, but stopped studying in February to focus fully on music.
