Eric Sharp is about clarity.

Combining a conscientious mindset with unshakable musical passion, Sharp has become one of the most accomplished electronic DJ/Producers on the West Coast. Intimate private parties, club nights, and massive festivals are all familiar venues for him, bringing his own style of sophisticated house music: both intelligent and deeply somatic. With his record label Rock It Science Laboratories and his personal productions both garnering support from top DJs and tastemakers, Eric embodies an element of purity in his work. As a vegan for nearly 15 years, a healthy lifestyle has been key in his personal development. Musically, this attitude comes across as a clean, distilled sound that pays homage to the very core of dance music while carving out a polished niche.

Before Eric Sharp found his success in front of the crowd, he spent his hours tirelessly promoting underground warehouse parties. His work as a DJ and producer was ultimately shaped by the myriad sounds he was showcasing to a hungry public, culminating in 2010 with the launch of Rock It Science Laboratories (RIS Labs) - a label and platform for like-minded producers - founded with New York's DJ Fame. With tracks ranging from the deep and subtle to the driving and syncopated, Sharp's music has been licensed by the likes of Sony, CSI: Miami, Hitachi, and a forthcoming feature-length independent film that will run the festival circuit.

Migrating from San Francisco to Los Angeles, Eric has made quick work of his new surrounds—locking down a residency at Hollywood’s esteemed Supperclub and DJing exclusive private events (including Sundance’s hottest mansion parties). Adding these accolades to an already impressive resume replete with performances at Outside Lands, Amsterdam Dance Event, Decibel Festival, SXSW, Ultra Week, Dim Mak, Blow Up, etc., one begins to get a sense of Sharp's momentum. With a plethora of forthcoming releases and collaborations to complement his ample list of bookings, Sharp has his sights set firmly on the top. Even more importantly and impressively he has the tools, drive, and the focus to get there.
