1. How did your career started as a musician/dj?
Ian: I've started to practice music as a singer, studying in an institute for five years.
I was deeply inside rock, punk and the eighties dark wave.
Basically the album Disintegration from The Cure totally changed my point of view about music, and not only about that.
So i've been around with several punk band, mostly cover band.
But as the time passed i've found difficults to work together with other persons,i mean in a classical band approach.
Combined with that feeling,i've started a fast and quite natural progression inside electronic music, so i've decided to start to work alone, trying to make some techno,
probably thanks also to the album Beaucoup Fish from Underworld that quite shocked me.
So i builded my first electronic trashy noisy productions together with playing in some party in my birthplace,
a very small city in the center of Italy.
Then i've moved to Milan, where i live at the moment, and i decide to try to make things a bit more seriously.
2. That at the moment of your life inspires you?
Ian: Basically everything, but this is quite obvious.
Even if you don't want it or you don't realize it you are inspired from everything.
But the point is that in general i don't like so much the world i'm living, and i don't like so much the persons that
lives on it.
I find this thing have positive side, cause when i meet some person that i like i get really amazed.
So i prefer to try to find some inspiration inside me,inside the feelings that this "dislike" to the world create.
But talking about more practical things, the books are a huge inspiration to me.I really love reading. Vladimir Nabokov to me it's an hero.
3. What are your future plans?
Ian: Some remixes on the way,and some original as well. And try to have some more gigs. Basically continue to try to find myself through music, hoping to never be able to find it.
