Equilateral is an award-winning non-profit social enterprise based in Leeds. Our focus is predominantly on providing workshops, mentorship, and advice to 13-25 year olds interested in music technology or multimedia – particularly those to whom such things are usually unavailable. As a social enterprise – a business reinvesting its profits, prioritising positive social outcomes over maximising revenue – it is important to us that young people without access to education, training and facilities in the creative arts are given the chance to engage with music and multimedia in ways that inspire confidence, both in themselves and in the arts, in a harsh climate of seven-figure youth unemployment.
