I wrote this song during the tour I was on all summer. I recorded bits and pieces of it on my phone so I wouldn't forget the melody and then put it all together during the fragments of time when I was actually home. I have been editing it for what seems like forever and I can't believe it hasn't violently killed me. Someday, I'll have a beautiful (real) studio and everything will sound amazing.

"I went to a part of town I hadn't seen and stayed there for a while. Flowers and fresh cut grass around stone sidewalks. Problems to be forgotten, not to be escaped. All you have are your thoughts, but you still feel at ease." - - - - I actually found this written on a piece of paper downtown and thought it would fit my song magically.

Thanks again, Adam Martin for being so patient with me and helping me edit it. You may not think your opinion matters, but you always have the best advice. And when I stomp back up to my room, I'm actually thinking over what you said.

I think this will be the last song with guitar that I will be recording for a while...Yeah, I enjoy playing guitar live, but I find the keyboard a lot less stressful to record. And Keyboard static doesn't exist!! Right..?
