Romanian born, Emil Corb was born into music. His grandfather being a musician and band/orchestra director. His mother, a singer and cellist, Emil was taught to read music and play instruments from the time he could walk. He quickly developed an ear for music and his talents clearly came to surface.
As Emil got older his love for music grew with him. In his early teen years a cousin from Germany turned him on to techno. Over the years his taste of music turned to trance and other forms of electronic music (but always holding a special place for the old school). Later in life Emil began to DJ at local parties for fun where his unique style began to develop and his popularity grew.
In late 2010, Emil teamed up with friend, and fellow music enthusiast, Marc David. The two created the duo known as WTF. It wasn't long before the talent and creativity behind WTF was shown with remixes that gained recognition by international artists like Gareth Emery and Mr. Careful.
Today Emil continues to pursue electronic music with a passion in both performance and production.
Catching Emil live, whether it's solo or part of WTF, is a performance you will not soon forget!
“I think dance music is a beautiful thing, it’s a great thing! And that’s what I want to show the world: dance music can really bring people together. We’re living in a very tough time, and tough times have always been. Its just about showing people we should not be sitting at home being scared for whoever we should be scared for... it's about going out, it's about meeting people, having a great time with your friends. That’s what life is about! It’s not about bullshit or whatever. So I challenge people to come to my shows, see what happens, not to me, but to your friends, to all the people in the club.”
