Dead Sea Captains: „Kjesus Remixes“ EP

Emerald & Doreen Records celebrates a hit!

Any hit needs its variations, already the classical composers knew. That's why Emerald & Doreen Records picked up „Kjesus“ by Mexican Duo Dead Sea Captain as its first Remixes EP to go along with an EP. „Kjesus“ melts the love of New Wave and Electronica that is characteristic to the Dead Sea Captains with some nonchalant, childlile vocals. You will never forget this chorus guitar!

Hi-Rate Discoteer Copycat takes the track to the House of the happy happy drumbeat, getting lost in the groove. Dansoul sexes it all up with a flashy e-bass, while Inigo Vontier is transporting the rhythm on the funky train.

Plus there is this inhaling version by Chromatic Dream. Jam Couché dances to an Italo Disco that is located somewhere in Scandinavia, while Felipe Sa relaxes on a downbeat.

What else: Great funky diamond reshape of another Dead Sea Captains track, „All these leaves“ by Emerald & Doreen residents go nogo and a minimal ambient chill interpretation by Mars Neko.

Dead Sea Captains basically are a duo, consisting in Jorge Flores and Anita de Mattis. Both met in Mexico City however she's from Lisbon while the guy stems from Pachuca, Mexico.
