GENESIS was the first 'experiment' dabbling in the Taking Notes* production style. It has 3 themes wrapped up in one. i.Thunder&Lighting ii. Taffy&Gumdrops iii.Water. After one theme was completed, the next was constructed as an attachment, much like building an extra wing to an existing building; part of a whole, but with a personality of it's own in order to challenge myself thematically. The thought process in the first movement is spelled out as one element adds to the next, until the complete picture was formed. From this point, I knew possibilities were many. Thus, Genesis...the Beginning.

*Taking Notes is a collection of classical music based compositions composed using only turntables and a drum machine.  Organic in inspiration, electronic in execution.  Apart from scratching and programming, there are no 'traditionally' played parts.
