I play an eclectic range of music, but an always excited at world music remixes, electro swing, Balkan, and global bass style tunes that have some realm of happiness to them. I am not so excited by dark, standard 4/4 or purely digital feeling tunes.

I have traveled the world and try to incorporate all types of music into my mixes, but unlike other DJs, i don't like all the beats to match in a set. I believe the story telling of a DJ set is done through changing moods and emotions, keeping a groove going, but challenging the listener to shift focus and think in new ways. A mix that sounds like one song all night long bores me, so I get a bit erratic at times.. but what the heck. Many of my tunes are based on field recordings for pieces taken on travels, or in my current city, and I have been working with Ableton Live for years.... I have also been digging lots of funk, dub, world beat, and Electro Swing, so please let me know if you have any new grooves to pass around for a listen.
