Electric Power Pole Records (e.p.p.r) is an Australian psytrance record label, in operation since 2004. Founded on the idea of promoting fledgling artists from Australia and around the world, the compilation ‘Location 2 hours from Sydney’ was released in August 2004.

After nine more compilations (The Martin Fitzgerald File, Blackout, Borrowed Time,Noctopus, Tech Tales, Myriad Expressions, The Flip Side, Tech Tales II and Problem Child), four album releases (Third Drop Reflection - Realization, Hedonix - Order out of Chaos, Frechbax - Wolkenkratzer and Vacuum Stalkers - Aelita), plus special digital releases by Jigsaw, Fracas and our latest EP compilation 'Pot Shots', e.p.p.r is continuing its search for original, fresh sounding psychedelic, minimal and progressive trance.

The range of music we aim to release reflects the diversity of music you would expect to hear from an outdoor bush party to an illegal club gig. Music made to be heard echoing out through the trees of a lush forest, or pumping off the walls of a strange night club.

We here at Electric Power Pole Records pride ourselves in being an accessible, grass roots organisation reaching out to a wider audience through quality music which we hope you enjoy.

electric power pole dj Red Two (epp founder) is currently based in Germany for an extended period from October 2010. A number of releases are planned to lick off 2013 in either digital or physical format (or both) including the highly aniticipated second album by Hedonix'. In addition on the digital front, look out for the debut EP of Sweedish artist Temporary Unknow in January 2013, an EP by Brazillian artist Tijah plus the recently released progressive 6 track compialtion EP, 'Pot Shots' which we are hoping to make into a series of follow up releases. So it definately is an exciting and very productive time for all associated with eppr.
