An adventurous musician, he has never chosen to limit himself to any particular style or category and he continues to experiment with many musical genres, both old and new.
Robert has had many trials and tribulations along the way due to the deaths of close family and friends, but throughout his career, he has always been able to thrill and electrify the audience with his inimitable talent.
Electric Hobbit’s music is a unique blend of electronic music, combined with ‘live’ guitar and vocals. Within this field, he experiments with genres both old and new and his progressive repertoire is extensive and diverse.
Some of his guitar work is reminiscent of his early influences, such as Pink Floyd, Jeff Beck, BB King and Santana, while others take you on a journey into uncharted musical territory. With his unique multi-genre approach to his music, you can always be assured that it is crammed full of emotion, energy and passion.
Taking a break from touring, Robert has recently returned to the studio and has been working hard on the release of a CD for his solo project.
