I'm a keyboardist and computer musician. I own a label called "Vita Minima Recordings" on which I release vinyls if I have ideas.
I worked together with Bodo Wissemann (Laufmasche/Samuel Fach) whom I released on my label (Warp Woman EP, Deconstructed EP, Brain to Gain EP) and Benjamin and Oscar Wandel (Lord K ., Don Brazo of Phonosapienz). Cover graphics were created by artists like Claudian van Dahlen and Psylosph.
I helped conceiving extended functionality for "Temper" by Angryredplanet and used PureData to programme a genetic algorithm for breeding sounds using MIDI-gear (hardware and software).
Nowadays I'm trying to program a way of speech recognition control for synthesis algorithms based on artificial neural networks and make electronic music in different fields.
How I produce and tweak sounds?
I mainly use
-"Temper" by AngryRedPlanet for composing and sequencing,
-"Pure Data" for programming musical instruments,
-a bunch of (mainly free) plug-ins and synthesis / audio manipulation softwares
-notation and score recognition tools
-"Live-Styler" and "Energy XT" to perform my music,
-a laptop connected to a quad core pc using LAN to share cpu resources via "FXTeleport",
-an Alesis I/O 2 ASIO soundcard
-a CME Bitstream 3x and a Fame KX 61c Keyboard.
I read Curtis Roads's "The Computer Music Tutorial" and Eduardo Reck Miranda's "Computer Sound Design" and programmed some softwares based on what's written there. These books are pretty amazing and cover quite a lot!
Much fun listening to my (fairly old) tracks!
