Much love to Organismic for playing this most beautiful flute. We're working on a few things together which I'm very excited about.
Shin'ei is a very old Japanese shogunate era word meaning 'Sound of the Gods', which I came across reading the Hagakure. It probably should have had an Indian name because that's the influence I was putting into it with the tabla and the flute, but then again the flute is actually from China. So there we go, my first Indian based, Chinese instrumented, Japanese named ambient piece.
