Einzelkind are Miguel Ayala and Arno Völker. Two guys from Frankfurt that love and live House and Techno music. They have released several records on labels like Playhouse, Cocoon, Oslo and Get Physical Music. In 2008 Einzelkind founded their own imprint La Peña. La Peña stands for quality underground music without big marketing, that is the reason why you won't find any names on the actual vinyl releases. It is just about music not about names.

In 2010 Einzelkind founded their second label: Jax. Jax is a collective of like-minded artists, musicians, thinkers and booty shakers, who believe there is more to records than just some grooves engraved into black plastic. Their vision is to treat each record as a presentation itself, complete with original and individual artwork, features and exhibitions. Each production will feature artwork shown in a cube of about 8 cubic meters. Every record release will be strictly limited to 500 copies, which includes a poster referring to a piece made by the artist. Further emphasizing its exclusive nature, the project will be limited to 10 releases.

On Jax 000 and 001 Einzelkind released their first album in conjunction with Christian Burkhardt called „Revolver“.

Einzelkind just released Icon (w/ Christian Burkhardt) on Cocoon records as well as a remix for Matthias Meyers More or Less on Cécille. They did a track for Federico Molinaris No Way To Norway Mix CD which will be available soon. Their next release will be a 12" on Cécille and they're working on a 12" for Chris Carriers Adult Only label. Dj Sneak just picked Cooper (w/ Christian Burkhardt)† for his Fabric Mix CD. 1Trax asked Einzelkind to compile the next release in their Mix cd series. The Mix Cd will be released in 2012.

Einzelkind have got a residency at the infamous Robert Johnson (Offenbach) and regular label-nights at Watergate (Berlin).
