Alice Edun was born in Saint Petersburg, Russia to a Nigerian father and Russian mother. She moved with her family to Africa where she developed her gospel background in school and at a Baptist, church choir. When Alice moved to Italy, she continued to sing gospel, soul, and pop genres, performing regularly inside and outside of Italy.
In 2004, Grammy Award-winning, DJ/Producer Benny Benassi chose Edun among hundreds of vocalists for his "Benny Wants You" appeal program. As a result, she recorded lead vocals in 2005 on "Who's Knockin?" by FB. The record contains mixes by Ferry Corsten and Benny Benassi and was released through Dance Therapy, Holland.
In 2007, Edun made her solo debut with "Put 'Em Up," released in the U.S. by Robbins Entertainment. It reached the 2 spot on Billboard's Hot Dance Airplay Chart. "Put 'Em Up" also went on to become the most-aired track on American, dance radio the same year and was supported by Judge Jules on BBC Radio 1 in the UK.
Recently, Edun started collaborating with various, new producers and songwriters. She recorded and released "Diamonds" with Alex Martello (Italy) and "Survive" with Oscar Salguero (Spain), both of which were released in the latter half of 2008. Alice is also currently working on new songs with songwriter Stephan Leuenberger (Switzerland).
