Echo Vault is a 26 year old dub producer and selector living in Ghent, Belgium. He got interested in roots reggae music around 2005 and started producing his own dub around 2008, inspired by the Belgian scene and influenced by U.K. sounds like Jah Shaka, Iration Steppas, A&O, Vibronics and Zion Train. The centre of his small homestudio consists of a PC running cubase, linked to a 12 track mackie mixer with 4 aux sends and a couple of reverbration, delay and modulation units. In 2010 he joined Satta Sound, a roots & culture soundsystem founded by 2 passionate reggae fanatics from West-Flanders. Since then they play regulary together at local dances, combining a crucial selection of classic dub anthems and unknown U.K steppa tunes with unreleased own material.
