Eccodek is the brainchild of Canadian producer, remixer and composer Andrew McPherson. A morphing collective of world music instrumentalists and singers provides much of the inspiration for his compositions, with collaboration being at the centre of all 3 of their releases, More Africa in Us, Voices have Eyes and 2009 Juno award nominated Shivaboom. Released on US imprint, White Swan Records, Eccodek has appeared on numerous compilations as well including Six Degrees Records' Innerversions, Buddha Bar 9, Supperclub Vol. 7 and more. Eccodek was the only Canadian artist chosen to take part in National Geographic's fledgling GeoRemix project, featuring Karsh Kale, Cheb i Sabbah and many more.
Eccodek will release a remix compilation in 2011 with remixes from Dubmatix, Syriana, Transglobal Underground, Earthrise Soundsystem, Jef Stott and more.
