Eat More Cake are a songwriting collective from Harrow, NW London made up of Andrew Briggs (Vocals, guitar), and Matt Pearn (Keyboards).
Their music combines elements of dance, hip-hop and down-tempo.
Live highlights so far include FIV Festival in Spain, Glade Festival, Proud Camden, The Institute of Contemporary Arts, Hatfield Forum, Camden Barfly, 93 Feet East, Hoxton Bar and Kitchen and Hamswell Festival.
The tracks that make up the EP's "Climb The Ladder, Live The Dream" were recorded and produced using mostly live instrumentation at Eastcote Studios in London by Richard Kayvan. It also features performances by the Bulgarian Symphony Orchestra, conducted and arranged by Youki Yamamoto and recorded and engineered by Matt Howe.
Eat More Cake have appeared on Hed Kandi compilations "The Mix 2009" in the UK and "Serve Chilled" in the US. They have had original tracks and remixes played on BBC 6 Music, Xfm, Radio 1 and Kiss FM. Their double EP's "Climb The Ladder, Live The Dream'.Is out now.
