I am a home studio musician who is one of the and far between these days still producing electronic music just on hardware. My musical styles generally range in the IDM to Ambient Techno genres with my sound often being characterized as "1990's sounding". In addition to writing music I am also a moderator at Serious-Sounds.net (http://www.serious-sounds.net). I also run the LivePA blog (http://www.livepa.blogspot.com) which is a blog dedicated to live electronic music and I run a podcast on electronic music production at Orju.net.
And of course since Twitter is the center of the universe these days you can find me on twitter at twitter.com/dinterplay or get podcast and music industry news at twitter.com/orju

Love the bassline here.
Machinedrum? Seems to be oozing that sound at the beginning.
Something about the bass and the delay is a little off here. Sort of have difficulty finding the beat to lock back into.
@B.Ultra&Basic: I don't think the length per se is at issue, but it needs some more happening to keep interest. I think some very subtle "ghost" sounds or backgroun stuff would be enough to keep the listener engaged.
I need to soften this intro up a big and get it moving more for interest.
Hmm...Think I am going to cut out that bring back of the rolly bassline.
Nice housey groove.
I wish I could get my DnB lines sounding this good. Very nicely done production wise.
A bit long of an intro for me at this point.
Wow, that is a incredibly deep bass.
Nice work. This gels so nicely.
Love the intro, but it is a bit long as the build up just now ends.
Scratching could be a bit tighter, but I like what you are trying to do.
This sounds great. Actually reminds me of the stuff I was doing a few years back.
Lovely beginning. I am curious which direction you are going to take this.
@silverlining: Note taken. I should also perhaps look at the swing on the track too.
@silverlining: All of the percussions are ROM based samples, so they are basically percussion kits built into the Grooveboxes. In this case I am using samples from both the Command Station and the EMX-1
I am getting what sounds like a little bit of aliasing on the reverb on the clap. Not sure if that is intentional or not, but it sounds almost like a slight audio degrade.
@silverlining: Ditto. Your sparse use of the filtering and glitch make it all the more effective in the track.
The crash came in too loud on my listening setup. Might want to double check that.
@silverlining: Agreed. Again like I said before, I think it just needs some more "atmosphere" or something to make it sparkle a bit more.
Good climax to the end. You could expand on it more even if you like
@silverlining: The arp line here isn't so bad for me. It needs a little tweaking may be to sit better in the mix, but I think it works.
Solid bassline.
Once everything kicks in here, I feel like it could use a bit more reverb to wetten it up some
Nice with the panned claps. Great effect.
Definitely getting more into it at this point.
Intro gets a bit long for me at this point as the form is repeating. Something simple like some underlying sustained strings or pads would add another dimension just enough to keep the thought progressing forward.
Definitely has a soundtrack feel to it happening here.
This opening very much reminds me of "Beauty Never Fades" by Junkie XL from the Animatrix soundtrack.
I think I saw your video for this on the LivePA board. Nice work.
Not what I was expecting, but it does work. where is the rest of the song?
Seriously got my head nodding her. Love the bassline.
Excellent trance track. A it "standard" in its form, but it hits all of the right notes.
Those synths certainly have an Orbital vibe to them.
I love the blippiness here.
Nice high energy in this song, but I feel that I have intense energy the entire song. There is no break for me to "catch my breath".
This melody sounds extremely familiar. Is this one of your older tracks from a year or two back?
@hamsteralliance: I am not familiar with that, but I will have to look it up.
Love the atmosphere overall, but the mid range squelchy synth seems to have a bit too much reverb that isn't sitting right in the mix.
