About time I wrote something in here!!
I started producing back in 1999 when I stumbled across a demo copy of cool edit on a music magazine. The next few years of my life I became obsessed with editing sounds and making remixes of my favourite tunes. During this period I was making mainly mash ups and bootleg remixes. A Friend of mine said that I should send them to DJ EZ, the biggest DJ in garage. By pure fluke and I still owe him one, EZ started to play my tracks.

As the months went by I discovered the legendary uptown forums, signed up and met lots of DJ’s and record label owners and got to work on original tracks and remixes. Heavily influenced by the sampling techniques of the likes of Todd Edwards, Karl Brown, Jay Dilla & El-B I started to carve out a sound that I wanted to make. Thanks to EZ’s support I had started to make a name for myself and found the doors where quite easy to open.

During the 2003-2008 period I had a Sunday afternoon show on Vybe Fm and then on Subjam Fm and pushed the garage sound that I loved, picked up various DJ bookings and remixes and generally had a great time and met some fantastic people. I had remixed & produced for such artists as NY, Asher D, MJ Cole, Dreem Teem, Ed Case, Mutya Buena & True Tiger.

During 2009 I ran a free download experiment called the Push EP where I released number of garage tracks for free download from a blog page. This resulted in the lead track 'Pushing' getting signed to 2nd drop recordings and released on 12".

Since then the production machine has slowed down, however I still have the same passion I used to and can’t see it ever not being a part of my life. I’m always working on new material and open to new projects/ideas.
