Ducks on Repeat formed in April 2009. After a few quacking gigs together with the discovery of a shared passion of electronic music, dfind and daboo joined forces. A quack here and a quack there later, a number of dancefloors were blown away by the wicked medley of bass-driven tech, surfing through all kinds of fresh electronic sounds and rhythms. In 2011, the Ducks were recruited onto Neustadtmusik.

At young age the two were influenced by artists such as Tribe Called Quest, DJ Krush, Shadow, Fatboy Slim, Prodigy, Chemical Brothers, Leftfield, Propellerheads. Later on when going into mixing they started with Nu Skool Breaks (Stanton Warriors, Plump DJs, Elite Force, etc.) and Drum n Bass (DJ Hype, Goldie, Aphrodite, LTJ Bukem, etc.) and slowly progressed with the development of electronic music. Round basslines, tight beats and ethno percussions are a few things that represent the outcome of the ducks’ musical roots.
