After living in Kingston, Jamaica I became hopelessly hooked on Reggae. Not the current day Dancehall styles but the older Roots Reggae, Rocksteady and Ska era of music.
Cobbling together a project studio full of old and broken equipment I got down to working on a few tunes here and there.
All this old equipment has its own character and a certain sound that could never be copied. Major studios may like their high priced compressors and EQs, but I'm content with these $7 thrift store throw-aways...even if some of them will stop working if you look at them the wrong way.
I'm always interested in doing dub mixes for other artists.
Just send me a message and help keep the dub fire burning.
