i started to collect records in the year 2000/2001 with some easy listening, trip hop,... mainly hanging in front of the radio and listening to the silly solid swound system, tribe vibes,... afterwards their came a longer period where i was playing all kinds of reggae and dancehall - mainly influenced by the upper austrian scene - kapu, soundsgood, good vibration,... but also different kind of parties (tekkno, experimental, goa and even dnb in the old days...) and other musicians from the area took a big influence on my conception of music.

I first got in contact with DUB- this wonderfull, spiritual and powerfull music - in May 2005 at a soundsystem session of the mighty JAH SHAKA in london. from this day on, i was totally lost in DUB and it was like a mission to bring it as authentic as possible to austria. so i started digging tons of roots vinyl and had several trips to london to get a general idea about the music and its cultural, social and political aims. since 2009 i take an active part in organising and promoting the DUBQUAKE VIENNA - the first uk-dub styled party in austria - and it's a great pleasure to share my passion with all lovers of this magic music and culture.
