About

Serge Dubrovsky AKA Dubmasta - selector, producer, designer, journalist, has been pulling out finest dubs since 1979. Born in Chernihiv, resides in Kiev, Ukraine. Started out with various noise punk hardcore bands in 90’s now is a major driving force for VzyalSoundSystem AKA VS AKA ВЗЯЛ project - one of them first electronic dub groups in Ukraine. Establisher of SKP Records indie label. Since 1999 inspired by experimental electronica, beats and different shades of dub & reggae its catalogue currently lists about 50 CD releases including a pair of remarkable compilations “Dub In UA: Ukrainian Dubstyle Chronicles. Kiev-Odessa Underground Cuts 1993-2006” and a cloud of free web-releases. Together with Kiev electronic music veteran Alexei Mikryukov AKA King Imagine they stand for Inspector Reespeckto mysterious venture. Also collaborates with _Roots controller as Dubmasta & Rootscontrolla & russian producer FRiKiWiKKiD AKA mr.solid . Extensively collaborates with Ukrainian, Russian, German & international artists. Now focused mostly on studio work, sound exploration, remixing, mixtaping and music showcasing. As DJ supports Wicked Bass Records, SASHIBLOG, Dub_Splash club nights.
