Dublin Xpress records is an Irish based imprint that focuses on good quality club music. Techno, House, Deep, Funky, Electro and Tech-House are all catered for. Dublin Xpress aka DXR is home to Jay Riordan, Captain Random, Andrew Duke, Mike Absolom, Brian Taaffe, Rob Murphy, Uppfade, Phasen, thatboytim and more. Dublin Xpress began life as the bastard child of Nice & Nasty. A&R duties at DXR have been carried out by Desy Balmer, Brian Taaffe, DJ Miller, Enda Rochford and Scott Curtis; however, Desy and Jay with support from Enda run the label at present. Jay Riordan also acts as in-house Mastering Engineer.

Dublin Xpress releases have had the support of Richie Hawtin, Laurent Garnier, Dave Clarke, DJ Mourad, Domenic Cappello, DJ Misjah, Jamie Anderson, Tomic Chair, Andy Cato (Groove Armada), John Gibbons, Sam Birrell, Dave Mothersole, Dimitri Pike, Alex Kidd, Manuel Perez, Robin Renwick, Estroe and Orde Meikle (Slam) for example.

DXR prides itself as a platform of expression for fresh, new artists. Predominately DXR works with music makers based in Ireland or Irish diaspora but occasionally the net widens if the tunes are good enough. There are no hard and fast rules, no concrete criteria. There is merely a love of good music, for tunes that make people dance. We are always open to demo's. We love to do gigs. We enjoy a cup of tea and a chat so get in touch.
