DubCOliNG (aka Colin Tucker) was raised high up in the Colorado Rocky Mountains on the Western Slope. Having a heavy passion for music his whole life, at the age of 13, he acquired his first set of turntables and a mixer. From that point on, music and sound have engulfed every waking moment of his life. Focusing on his love for bending sound, he spent most of his time, the first several years, perfecting the art of scratching and turntablism. He spent countless hours scratching over any genre of music he could find during his teen years. After moving to California in 2004 he dove into the wild world of Scratch Live, mixing everything from Jurassic 5, to ATB, all the way around to Bob Marley. With his discovery of Bass Music came a whole new world of combining his all time favorite Reggae music with heart pumping Dubstep, Crunk, psychedelic, Glitch, IDM, Midtempo, Breaks, and anything else he could find that could bring the enlightening words of Reggae, Eastern Instruments, and Eastern chant into the soul penetrating world of Whomp. He aims to create spiritual, uplifting music to inspire connection on the dance floor by meshing Reggae and Organic Eastern Electronic music with psychedelic heavy frequencies. Currently living in Lake Tahoe California, he pursues the ability to bring his love & passion for life & dancing to all our distant relatives through music & sound~
