Dsompa is Philipp, he was born in 1984 and lives in Hamburg, northern Germany.

His first contact with electronic music was in 1999, and in the year 2000 he discovered his first psy party... where he fell in love with the psychedelic culture and music. Philipp has been spinning psytrance since 2004. His first gig in Ruigoord sparked the idea to continue the psy story... Since then he has rocked dancefloors in parties in Germany, the Netherlands and Lithuania. He loves deep, mystic and powerful night-orientated dark-ish psytrance and groovy psychedelic sounds. He also enjoys to play ambient and chillout, as well as experimental orientated set's, influenced by the sixtees. Dsompa is a Tibetan name that means "flowing together". Since a few years he is making his own sounds as well. You can listen to the first tracks here on Soundcloud.

In 2009 he founded with a bunch of the "Wijdan Tribe". A hamburg based collective of DJs and upcoming artists. The Wijdan Tribe organize since 2009 every year one party, called "The Peak Experience". Their first party was in may 2009, where the idea of the collective was born.
