Cristian Cervantes a.k.a. Drystortion was born in 1990 in the city of Guadalajara, Mexico. He began his love for the music at age 10, at 15 influenced by music of Punk, Metal, and EBM, he started to learn to play the guitar and 1 year later, he heard the Psytrance music and his sounds perception changed totally, for the first time on his life he can heard how this kind of music could break all the schemas and rules of the majority of music genres. After that experience, he decided to start produce this kind of music under the artistic name of "Bit Morrison" (Name influenced by the Cristian's musical admiration of Jim Morrison) but with the time he decided to change the name for "Drystortion" (Fusion of Dry and Distortion, in spanish "Distorsion seca").
His style is a mix of High Tech, Horror Trance, Southafrican Full on and Dark Psy, as a result of this combination it's a strong melodies, bizarre and catastrophic vibrations on people's minds and extreme energetic sensations.
