hardware soundscape generative
almost autonomous self triggering generative unsequenced chaos music- from 2003- i did touch a couple of faders on the mixer but the rest happened by itself thanks to the wonders of modern (80's) technology- no editing or post production done- equipment used: dx100, k4r, hr16, tx16w, quadraverb gt, pm16, gary barlow's mixer- recorded to 1/4" tape- i programmed the patches and set the levels then let it rip- audio/midi feedback- its almost trying to be techno

@DrSkime: that's so cool. Really interesting. It's like a lo-fi max/msp patch or something. Brilliant.

@Semtek: i used a roland pm16 which is meant to have drum pads plugged in to it but i dont have any pads so i plug in the sends from my mixer so the sounds go to the pm16 and trigger midi notes which go back to the synths/drum machine and trigger more sounds which trigger more sounds....etc. it cant really be controlled but you can influence it or make it change by changing the send level- its A LOT of fun!

Nice. So how does 'midi feedback' work? Sounds interesting...
