André Lucas Carvalho (1988) a.k.a. droydi, born and bred in the metropolitan area of São Paulo, Brazil, and is stationed at the southern coast of Norway, where he is continuously working and developing his love for music. At an age of 17 droydi got his hands on his first pair of borrowed decks, and instantly began experimenting by mixing different music genres and was soon doing everything from playing at local venues, DJ-ing at business events to co-hosting full blown underground parties.

During the early part of 2009 he started his own night club, Lipz, a daughter company operating under the already established ALC Corp-brand. Lipz quickly grew into being a well known club-scene along the southern coast of Norway, playing electronic and house music for the masses of young clubbers. Being the natural resident DJ at Lipz, droydi further developed his music style and went deeper into exploring several other under catagories of house music. His constant exploration of new styles, energetic dance moves and everlasting lust to create unforgettable events for his audience, made it possible for him to harvest massive praise from local as well as foreign clubbers and media.

His frequent visits and participation to events in countries around Euorpe has bridged the gap between droydi and the European club scene. This massive arena of nightlife has taken his focus up to a new level, both musically and in terms of networking relationships and opportunities.

While he is tweaking and perfecting his style, droydi frequently plays at renowned northern clubs, he is also participating in producing with some established Norwegian producers. The time to come will continue to be filled with many more exciting performances and collaboration featuring several of his top DJ friends.

During his time as a DJ, droydi has performed in several capitals around Europe, notably, Hamburg, Riga, and Oslo. He has also collaborated with artists such as Technikal (UK), Phil York (UK), PHAXX (NO/SWE), Josef Bamba (NO), Me & My Monkey (DE), André Crash (Tasty Soundz/LV), Deros (Tasty Soundz/LV), Franzo Kolms (Latex Records UK), Gabbi Lopez (UK), Mats Gulbrandsen (NO), as well as many other local norwegian DJs.
