Drop Dem Records has been started by three likeminded Producer/DJ's, Filth Collins, Profesa, and Waster. After many years working with various labels from small independents to majors, the trio decided to use their combined knowledge and experience in the music industry to release their own music and the music of artists that they spin in clubs from week to week.
The first artist to release on Drop Dem Records was Co-Owner Filth Collins.
Filth has taken the Australian and New Zealand bass scene by storm through constant touring, major festival slots, and featuring on major compilations such as Dubstep Invasion (Sony). He has also made his mark on the international music scene with his latest ep "Levels" charting at #10 on the Beatport Top 100 Dubstep releases and reaching #30 on the Beatport top 100 releases. With a refreshingly melodic and energetic take on the current dubstep, grime, and drum and bass scenes, it is no wonder why he has gained DJ support from the top players in the bass music scene, such as Mistajam, Caspa, Doctor P, Tubby, Antiserum, Borgore, Brown and Gammon, Megalodon, and many many more!
Although Drop Dem Records is still in it's early days, the achievements made by the label are enormous. With their releases having gained support from radio stations such as BBC Radio 1, Rinse FM, and Triple J, and DJ support from artists such as Benga, Skream, Plastician, Megalodon, ENiGMA Dubz, Lifecycle, Perverse, Tron (Genetix), Soloman, Brownz, Unnatural Forces & more it is no surprise that every release to date has cracked the Beatport Top 100 Best Seller charts for their respective genres. With an artist roster that already includes KLRGRM, Supreme, Standard Procedure, Disonata, Vital Techniques, Rattraps, Jesse Slayter, Mathix, Pedestrian, Pop The Hatch, and Filth Collins, there will be no stopping this fresh new label from world bass music domination!
