About
Dr Klaw aka Dj Mutt was raised in the spirit of the diverse San Francisco music scene and began Djing his own sets on the club circuit at the tender age of 17. He collected records for many years and then started producing beats early on in high school and garnered some street recognition working with local artists and putting out legendary mix tapes. He cites some of his early influences like Dj Grandmaster Flash, Dj Jazzy Jeff, Dr. Dre and DJ Premier as the reasons he is a Dj and Producer. In 2009 Mutt graduated from Hollywood’s Musicians Institute as a certified Engineer, Producer and Keyboardist(hence the alias Dr Klaw). Mutt’s seamless blends stretch across many genres, making his particular skills extremely sought after in the underground and mainstream industry.
