This track began as an exercise in rhythm, with the drums and bassline sequenced out first. I spent a lot of time micro-editing the drum sequence to get the rhythmic flams bleeding into each other. A few months later I returned to the track and began adding some synths. I enjoyed contrasting the stompy, boom-bap drums/bass with layers of flighty, entrancing melodies.

cheers dude :) that bass synth is a sawtooth waveform with the filter cut-off quite low.
