"Live from the 718" is never an understatement to this artist. Born and raised in Queens, NYC. We all know the story, grew up during hard times. Both parents working all the time. Boredom sets in.

Can't concentrate. Feel anxious. His philosophy was: write a rhyme.
Fading into deep thought was his escape from reality. Many love the thump of the drums. He loves the arrangement as a collective entity.

He began experimenting with different types of music. Recognizing his true passion was hip-hop. It then became an obsession.
He didn't realize how deep his fascination went until he wrote his first song.
While his peers dabbled in street-hustlin and other such deeds, the focus was keep writing.

Forever plagued by the words of the forefathers of his generation.
MC's like KRS-One, Mos Def, Nas, Common, Jay-Z, Eminem, Royce da 5'9", Talib Kweli, Raekwon & Wu-Tang, B.I.G and 2Pac were the most influential.

One verse in particular always stuck with him during his journey from a member of Wu-Tang, "..explosion when my pen hits tremendous.." -Inspectah Deck, Triumph.
Subsequentally, he dons the name. drewkaBooM.

So many styles, so many avenues of attack(rhythmic, punchline, storytellin, etc..)
His aim was to stick one style, transcend the "norm" and design a sound that he and many others will fall in love with.
This self-inflicted pressure made his transition into his particular style very abstract and unrelateable.

A biography.. Who knows. This is about art.
An artist is an artist whichever form they come. Despite what most assume, "We're all misunderstood it just depends to what degree."

What more to know..he loves music. His melodic approach speaks for itself.
The love and tenacity flow freely through the speakers. Whether with emphasis or just letting the ambience build. His goal is to create explosive content for friends, family and fans..
Art is art.
