Tinkering away in Melbourne's electronic music community since 1997, Declan's eclectic taste and keen sense of rhythm has always shone through, whether in his DJ sets, sound designs for theatre, influential radio programs and more recently productions as Dream Kit.

Declan dipped his producers toe in 2005 with 'Theme From Juan’, a collaboration with Super Melody and Rambl under the Tempo Perdido alias. Juan was selected by Osunlade for his IBARA: River Crossing compilation which was released through Soul Jazz records in 2005.

In 2009, Declan started producing material under the alias Dream Kit. With the influence of Detroit Techno ever present, Dream Kit channels influences from across the musical into a bold new sound. Cerebral dance music for an unknown future.

Broadcasting since 1997, Declan cut his teeth at Melbourne's PBS FM presenting The Leisuredome and began Against The Arctic at 3RRR FM in December 2005. Against The Arctic came to a close in December 2010 with a strong following amongst Melbourne's musical community.

Declan was a participant in the 2003 Red Bull Music Academy in Capetown and has been a part of that wonderful and dysfunctional family of worldwide music lovers ever since.
