This has been a different year so far when it comes to the music I share. Many of the tunes are things I have been wanting to write for a long time. I like my Soundcloud family of fans and musicians. I have been exposed to a variety of styles. "Argentina" and tunes like "School Day" are just the surface.. I have many more to come I hope you keep checking in to hear the latest direction my music takes me. I have found over the years that many have studied jazz, classical, and styles that have traditional sounds that have been copied over and over to the piont that the ones who study these areas have no sense of who they are and have not obtained the ability to create the music that is in their hearts. This is a sad thing because there is so many things to explore in ourselves but if we keep just imitating what has been created by others we will never have a voice. Don't get me wrong I love all that music too, but you must hear what you are saying as well........keep creating who knows you could inspire a next generation of musicians....yes you.....tap into your masterpiece....DrCal out
