Dr.J
With over 20 years experience as a dj,promoter and radio personality Dr.J has built a solid reputation in the DJ industry, both nationally and internationally. Through his extensive knowledge of music and passion for his craft he has established himself as one of Canada's premier disc jockeys. In addition to his numerous local and national residencies Dr.J produces and hosts the "Expansions" radio show on CFCR(Saskatoon) - a program devoted to funk, disco and hip hop music. Dr.J is also the founder of Roots Forward Records - a Canadian label devoted to the promotion and preservation of old school rap music. The first release on the label was a collaboration with heavyweight rap producer Marly Marl and rap pioneer Craig G. Stay tuned for many exciting releases and projects on Roots Forward in 2012!
