About
Gabriele Cerlini (aka Doctor DJ Cerla/Floorfilla) is a DJ and a dance music producer based in Reggio Emilia, Italy.
His music career began in 1993 with the smash hit "Rotterdam '93" which topped charts in Spain, and quickly became a club hit all across Europe. Other hits from his Dr. DJ Cerla alias include "Everybody Pom Pom," and "Wonder" (which was co-produced by fellow Italian Moratto), which rose to be a #1 chart topper in Italy.
With the Floorfilla project started in 1998, Cerla achieved his biggest hits, starting in France (where the single Anthem #2 sold nearly 250,000 copies), and rapidly spreading across Europe to the world. His releases extend not only to Europe, but Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, Singapore, and the USA. He has performed in all these countries as well, together with the French MC Momo B.
In 2007, Cerla started up BOMBON3RA, his club night project that runs twice a month in Reggio Emilia.
