@MrGladstone: @bd-nataraj://Nathan Jon Tillett: I agree 100% with Tom. I tried Garageband, but it's not my cup of tea, it's power comes through with a real musician like Nathan who plays real instruments as well. And - gorgeous solo, again I agree - where did soloing stay?
ich muss es schon wieder hören, jetzt lad' ich es mir auch runter, thx for download available!
@Michaelw: Thanks Michael, big compliment about my instrumentation, especially coming from you! But I guess I wouldn't have found these synth lines without the inspiration of the vocals/lyrics
@Michaelw: Yeah, when dealing with @Jesper Jones you will sweet by dancing on the cool beats
@Martin Wellbourne: Thanks for stopping bye Reggie, and thanks for the compliment. I am aware how risky it is to go on such a track. But I will do it again!
@apapdop: Thanks Andreas, I'm also quite happy with this one. I think here together with Little White Pill and Dark Water I managed to catch the mood of the vocals and translate them into a synth the best . I used all together 17 different synth lines here, but always just two notes...
@apapdop: floating guitars from, ... guess ... Alchemy, the king for loooong pads
just amazing, absolutely unique feeling to this. Already an earworm after one listen!
@Jesper Jones: thanks Jesper, I had Portishead and Kruder&Dorfmeister in mind while producing. I fear I might have covered them as well
@Jesper Jones: I took an Amen break and randomised it a bit in Stochastik
@Jesper Jones: :-)
@MrGladstone: Thanks Tom, the recipe is easy, take to notes and play 'em on a dozen different synths, arrange them and put over an amen break
@Mike J Dayton: Glad you like it, it's always risky to work on a classic.
lovely piece, very peaceful mood. And congrats for the arrival of your heir
the holding back the rythm here is very effictive. Very different parts of a coherent track, nice evolution
wow, cool atmosphere, kind of sagging, as if you have heavy weights on your feet and try to escape
quite clashing sounds the beat and the rather soft lead melody, but it fits and is very interesting
you are getting quite funky lately, me like! All beats are from Rebirth? My self set app budget is overstretched, stop tempting me!
gorgeous synth solo
@pantsofdeath: @apapdop: yeah, the bassline turns the rythm in a whole new direction
nice happy melody, you should contact Disney ;-)
@Suonare (GTM): gracias
@nakedgorilla: Nah, not cynical, just sharp in your observation
Wow, this is realy amazing! One line holding everything. Please tell me it#s not a one take!! The bass is again so fat and your recipe of leaving room and spaces works again here.
so everyone is fatalistic about western societies these days? I could'nt agree more. At least one can be inspired to wicked tunes.
wow, I am used to quite personel lyrics from you, but here you show us the ambivalence of joining competitions, brave man!
Puh! Here comes the rest Ed won't get. Even without your explanation the mood comes through. It's very close to classic music, the vehemency makes me think of Richard Wagner operas. this piece is really great and i bow my back how you used so many apps without completely loosing your mind!
great breakdown pushing the bass in the foreground. Lot of energy in here, NATAD. Regarding your rules - my rule is the opposite. Working simultaneously on several tracks helps me when I'm stuck with one tune, works best when the songs are in different styles
cheers man, sweetening my afternoon at the office
Yeah, bit more dirt
thumbs up mate, great flow as ever and striking lyrics, liked the bass in here as well very much
ich fühl mich wie ne Kugel im Flipper
wicked Mike! Your playful style comes through, but the gorgeous leading bassline is knitting everything together in perfect manner
@doucetephemere: PS: How did you use Audiobus, what was in the output slot?
great drumming, Mr. Wadlow! I like the different volumes in the guitar, what strikes me most here is the perc set in the foreground, perfect fit for this chillout tune. I'll have a Mojito, btw
solid as ever, pushy drive and floating ambience
@Frent Fonder: Thanks Jeremy!
@Neil Brett: Cheers!
@apapdop: Thanks Andreas, the vocals only came on top when the track was already done. I wouldn't dare to start such a thingie from the beginning...
