DoubleV is a young, dynamic and innovative thinking duo of producers from Republic of Moldova, Vasile and Vadim, two friends who started off DoubleV more as a joke back in spring of 2010, but which has emerged into a very successful story afterwards.
This initiative generated numerous interesting and important achievements, all resulting from a high motivation, desire to excel and an intensive learning activity: tutorials, music classes, as none of them had academic background in the musical field.
DoubleV’s first official release was a remix for another Moldavian group, Biotones, in the fall of 2010 at Fragmatic Recordings. Winter of 2011 brings their first single, an EP with Dmitry Golban, at Abora Recordings - ”Wings of Heaven EP”, EP that received a great feedback, being supported by names as Paul Oakenfold, Roger Shah, Pedro del Mar, Giuseppe Ottavianni, etc. Shortly after that, followed a series of remixes in an uplifting trance style for various record labels, that helped them to develop their skills as composers and producers, plus a new single, ”Pangeea”, released by Silent Shore Recordings.
Early 2012 was an important step for their career - a release with one of the newest and successful labels in Europe: Amsterdam Trance Recordings.
At the beginning of summer 2012, DoubleV started ”Pedro del Mar & DoubleV Project”, that had a great success by remixing the tracks of great DJ’s as: Tiesto, Paul van Dyk, Arty, Jes, Roger Shah, Emma Hewitt, Robbie Rivera, Andy Duguid etc.
In their short career, DoubleV’s tracks and remixes were present in radio shows and live concerts of famous artists as Armin van Buuren, Above & Beyond, Paul van Dyk, Roger Shah, Paul Oakenfold, Ferry Corsten, Dj Feel, Bobina, Kyau & Albert, Ronski Speed, Gareth Emery, Giuseppe Ottavianni, Aly & Fila, etc. DoubleV had also live shows in Moldova, mixing on the same stage with artists like Stoneface & Terminal, Super 8 & Tab, Mat Zo, Andrew Rayel, etc.
Currently, the guys are releasing their tracks and remixes at Armada Music and Black Hole recordings. Keep an eye on them, the best is yet to come.
